Is only available to companies that have demonstrated competency in food safety and sustainability
Members must also:
- demonstrate robust systems to minimise their food’s vulnerability to fraud, adulteration and to mitigate market risks,
- have effective mechanisms to respond to a food disaster,
- undertake an annual reassessment to ensure competency and sustainability requirements continue to be met.
Members are able to advertise their status by using the logo on their packaging and in their promotional material.
Consumers can verify the Membership status of the producer on this website.
The presence of the APCFI Member logo doesn't guarantee to the consumer that the food is safe - it tells the consumer that the manufacturer is serious about how it sources, produces and distributes its food and approaches international best practice in doing so.
